El Segundo bucked the trend in November as one of the only South Bay cities that saw an increase in home sales from October.  There were 10 sold home compared with 8 in October and  6 in September

The average “asking” price was an impressive $1,495,200 with the average sold price for the homes in El Segundo that closed at $1,426,200 which was a HUGE drop from  $1,943,000  in October.  That said the numbers often fluctuate significantly month to month in El Segundo.

Homes that sold averaged $819 per square foot. Homes averaged 87 days on market (DOM) before going into pending status.

October 2024 was a very impressive month for home sales  and home prices in the coastal community of El Segundo.  There were 8 closed sales compared with 6 in September,  8 in August and 10 in July.

The average “asking” price was an impressive $1,961,250 with the average sold price for the homes in El Segundo that closed at  $1,943,000  which was a big increase from $1,767,500 in September and $1,535,801 in August.  

Homes that sold averaged $815 per square foot. Homes averaged 46 days on market (DOM) before going into pending status.

The average “asking” price was an impressive $1,845,983 with the average sold price for the homes in El Segundo that closed at $1,767,500 which was a big increase from $1,535,801 in August but well below the amazing $2,027,279.  

Homes that sold averaged $1,005 per square foot. Homes averaged a very brief 25 days on market (DOM) before going into pending status.

Although it was definitely not as impressive as the numbers for July, August was still a very good month for home sales and home prices in El Segundo. There were 8 home sales which was a slight drop from 10 in July, but higher than most months.

The average “asking” price was $1,563,063 with the average sold price for the homes in El Segundo that closed at $1,535,801 which was a big drop from the unusually high $2,027,279 in July and down from June at $1,756,250 and May at $1,914,800.  

Homes that sold averaged $957 per square foot. Homes averaged a very brief 17 days on market (DOM) before going into pending status.
