There are big prices and then there are record prices.  This was almost the latter.  Closing at $3,900,000 this is the second highest sale price we’ve seen for an on market single family home.

The home offered almost 4,200 square feet on two levels.  The lower level offered 4 bedrooms and direct access to the grassy back yard.

Top floor featured the living areas along with the primary suite.  This level offered some nice ocean views and overlooked the spacious yard.

The average price per foot for sold homes was $854 and the average days on market was an extremely short 10 before going into pending status. It was a huge month for home sales in El Segundo with 20 home, townhome and condo sales during the Month of May compared with an impressive 15 homes in April of 2022.

The average “list” price was $1,529,385 which was actually down considerably from April in which list prices were over $1.8M. The average sold price for El Segundo homes that closed in May was $1,571,250 meaning that homes generally sold well over the list price. The average price per foot for sold homes was $904 and the average days on market was an extremely short 9 before going into pending status.
