The newest additon to the El Segundo real estate market is a luxury remodel located at 905 McCarthy Court. The home was almost completely remodeled and boasts of high end features such as all Miele appliances, waterfall island, built in coffee maker and expansive retractable doors from both the kitchen and game room leading to the deck and pool. As housing inventory remains very low in El Segundo, this latest month will really deplete the number of active MLS listings with a huge jump in pending home sales. October saw 24 homes go into escrow which is the highest number we could track within the last 10 years. With active listings at a near record low (7 as of 11/11) this doesn’t bode well for home buyers eager to find a home in this charming South Bay community. April was a VERY slow month for home sales in El Segundo with only 3 properties closing escrow during the month. The median list price was $1,098,000 with the median sales price of $1,100,000 meaning the three homes basically sold for full price.
