April Home Sales in El Segundo and the South Bay

The April home sales numbers and median prices were once again impressive in El Segundo and throughout most South Bay cities. Some cities saw a drop in median prices from the previous year but all are still trending upwards from 2015.  El Segundo saw 13 home sales in April with a median home price of $900,000 compared with just under $790,000 in April of the prior year.

El Segundo CA Home Prices Up in December

The December numbers are in and if there was any thought that the real estate market in El Segundo was leveling the numbers certainly say otherwise.

The average home price in El Segundo for the homes that closed escrow during December was $1,023,000 with a median price of $999,000. Those are big numbers that still shows no sign of slowing or reversing.   See the chart below for the December home sales numbers for El Segundo and the South Bay for December of 2015.

March Home Sales and Home Prices in El Segundo and the South Bay

March once again saw some impressive median home prices while housing inventory remained low.  The median home price in El Segundo for March of 2015 was $849,000 with 17 home sales.  The real estate market trends in El Segundo are definitely indicating a very active summer market.  With some top schools and a location along the coast, the summer months are always the highest demand for this coastal community.  See the current homes for sale in El Segundo.

February 2015 Home Sales in El Segundo CA

El Segundo once again saw a limited number of sales but a very positive month in terms of sale prices.  While monthly sales prices were down a bit compared with the previous two months, much of that was due to the past few months being impacted by the sales of recently completed townhomes.  To view the current homes for sale visit our MLS listings page.

September Home Sales in El Segundo Dominated by Condos

El Segundo CA once again saw a fairly low number of home sales for September 2014.  The real estate market continued to be a sellers market with very lowPlan A townhome in Fusion inventory and very high demand in this coastal community of the South Bay outside of Los Angeles.  The bulk of the home sales in September were dominated by condos, which is a bit unusual.  Of the 8 homes sold on the MLS, 5 were condos, one was a townhome and only 2 single family homes.  Visit our El Segundo CA homes for sale page to see the current active MLS listings or visit our recent home sale page for the South Bay to see other months and other South Bay Cities.

 

El Segundo Real Estate Market Update

The market in El Segundo seems to have leveled a bit with the number of homes for sale hovering in the high teens for the past few months.  As of August 25th there are currently active listings in El Segundo.   Although last month saw a significant increase in active listings and this month we see an increase in pending home sales, the numbers are skewed a bit due to the recent release of a number of new construction townhomes on Walnut and Pepper.
